Control Your PC From Your iPhone

Title says it all! After browsing the [installous] app store, I came across ‘Jaadu’. Worst app I have ever used, for people with wireless routers or some sort of intricate internet set-up, this app is not for you. Even if you don’t, it still should be your second choice.

I’ve been using a little program called “Log Me In” for a while now to control my PC from another PC. After not using it for a while I stumbled upon a situation where I needed to use it again – then I saw they had an iPhone app now as well! I then ‘bought’ the app [without hesitation], installed it, and set it up. Which did NOT require much effort at all! (even for the technically challenged)
All that was needed was my account credentials, and to install the LogMeIn feature on my computer, which is done automatically when you click ” + Computer” on logmein.com in the ‘your computers’ menu.

I made a video to demonstrate just how fast it and easy it is to use. Very impressive.
Note: I did edit out the waiting times for the initial connection to make the video less dull. It usually takes up to 10-15 seconds to connect.

Also: this can be fun to install on a friends computer without them knowing. Heh. Not saying I would do such a thing, but it’s an idea.
